- 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Nero, pale straw with a persistent mousse. Peach, citrus skin and flowers on the nose. Nicely ripe and fruit-driven, with white peach and mineral flavors dominating. At once silky and quite dry, even a bit youthfully austere, but with very good breadth and richness. Finishes round and ripe, with persistent apple and pear flavors.

- Easy to drink with soft fruity flavors, nicely balanced and subtle perlage. Very nice color too.

- Castellina in Chianti. 100% Sangiovese. Mid crimson. Intense cherry and raspberry nose. Elegant palate weight. Richly tannic palate with fine fruit underneath. Long, youthful and rather gorgeous.<br />

- An extremely focused young wine with blackberry and hints of basil. Medium to full body, fine tannins and a fresh and intense finish. Beautiful austerity on the finish. Made from biodynamically grown grapes. Demeter certified. Firm and precise. Drink in 2020.

- The 2015 Altrovino, a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, earns a Tre Bicchieri. The nose is intriguing with hints of mint, and dark fruit like blackcurrants and blueberry. The body is rich, but well-distributed, with excellent freshness, subtle tannins and a succulent, long finish.

- Merlot and Cabernet Franc from Tuscany! You can feel the tanins from Cab Franc and the structure of Merlot!.

- Barolo!!! This one has plenty of leather and tobacco on the nose with background floral notes. Smoky, meaty palate. Chewy tannins. Probably would benefit from a few years in the cellar, but waiting for Barolo isn’t something I can do! Cheers.

- The Brut Blanc de Blancs is fabulous. Lemon peel, white flowers, crushed rocks and mint jump from the glass. The flavors are classic Chardonnay, but there is a sense of volume here that is hugely appealing. Best of all, the Blanc de Blancs is a superb value.

- Quite ripe, yet not over-ripe, the inky hued 2019 Saint Joseph reveals notes of pen ink, crushed stone, blackberry, and ground pepper, followed by a full-bodied red with moderate acidity. Rich and textured, not heavy, it can be drunk over the coming decade or so.

- Dark berries, licorice, potpourri and allspice aromas are complemented by olive and woodsmoke accents. Sappy and seamless on the palate, offering pliant blueberyy, cherry cola, floral pastille and spicecake flavors supported by a core of juicy acidity. A smoky nuance appears on the long, dark-fruit-driven finish, where velvety tannins provide shape and gentle grip.

- Just mid ruby with orange tinges. Perfumed, ripe and almost opulent on the nose with hints of dried fruit. Elegant, sweet pure fruit and fine muscular tannins. A triumph for the vintage – which must have come a great cost.

In de afdronk aardse nuances, maar op een natuurlijke manier. Tannineus karakter en veel lengte, maar is tegelijk makkelijk te combineren. Is er beter gezelschap.

- Green feeling on the nose that has nothing to do with unripe fruit. The aromas recall granny smith apples, anise, and lime peel. In the mouth, this noble green characteristic is completed by softer sensations of white- eshed fruit and by a suggestion, particularly on the nish, of shelled almonds.
