- The 2012 Rigoleto is a real beauty. Silky and expressive on the palate, the 2012 impresses for its racy, perfumed personality and fabulous overall balance. Rose petal, sweet red berry and licorice notes meld together on the expressive, nuanced finish. This is fabulous entrylevel offering from Colle Massari.

- This 2012 is full body, ultrafine and silky tannins and a soft and fruity finish. Ripe and balanced with beautiful fruit and freshness. A wine with style and beauty. A tinyproduction, singlevineyard red. Better in 2017.

- A wine with composure and focus with dark berries, coffee and mineral character. It's fullbodied with super integrated tannins and a long finish. Structured and beautiful. Needs three or four years to show its truly beautiful character. Amazing wine. This is like one of the great cult wines of Napa Valley. Organically grown grapes. Better in 2019 but so impressive now.

- The 2013 has wonderful bright aromas of blackcurrants, violets and blueberries. Hints of stones. Full body, fine tannins and a fresh, clean finish. Better in 2017 but very fine now.

- The 2012 Bolgheri Rosso is deep, rich and powerful in the glass. Shades of dark blue/blackish fruit, smoke, tobacco, leather and spices wrap around the palate in a juicy, deeply expressive wine loaded with class and personality. There is so much to like here.

- Bright goldtinged yellow. Saline nuances complicate ripe tropical fruit and peach aromas. Rich and dense Vernaccia, with flavors similar flavors to the aromas. Finishes structured and persistent, with building sweetness. Strikes me as a fatterstyle Vernaccia than usual for Fontaleoni. Only 12% alcohol, but with lots of acidity and flavor.
