This estate shows consistently excellent results. The 2015 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is a textbook rendition of contemporary Amarone. The grapes see 90 days of appassimento. This is a real crowd-pleaser, with bright fruit tones, dark cherry, plum, tender raisins, spice, smoke and teriyaki spice. <strong>They really did a great job with this one</strong>. There is tightness and definition here with cracked black pepper and cardamom seed. You could even uncork one right away with a spicy Mongolian barbecue.
